Jim Crow laws summary

It is illegal for black and white people to play pool together in a bar.

All transportation company's must have separate waiting room and ticket windows.

It's prohibited to marry a "negro" descent to the 4. generation.

Separate school for black and white people.

Black and white people shall be separated in trains, and the managers have the authority to decide his or her race.

If you have a restaurant there shall be a wall on at least 7 feet. There shall also be a door for white people and one for the black ones.

You may not live with a black woman or man if you are white. You can be sent in jail and receive a ticket.

Ashley with the pink hair

Hello, my name is Ashley, and I go in high school in the us. I'm just a ordinary girl, but I have pink hair. My class and I just took the yearly group picture, and they photoshopped my hair color!? I feel really violated! It's my hair and I'm the one to decide which color it should be! My classmates and parents is really supportive, but its an different story with the school-board, they want me to change the color. But I won't, it would be like changing my personality.

I am an 11-year-old boy who live with my mother and I have a big problem. I hope you can help me and give me a piece of advice.
My mom is an alcoholic and but she lias to me about it. She is always drunk or have hang-over.
She is unpredictable and sometimes she is just gone for a few days...
She has a responsibility to me, but its like she never is there when I need her.
She is anxious that my dad will come back and beat her up again...

Relationships

My grandmother (Mitzi Yde Seiding) is a special person because she is sweet and caring. She is always there when I need her, and she is positive and she exudes a passion for life. She is different in a good way and down on earth.

We have a good relationship, we help each other when we need it. We can talk and we always have a good time. We can also talk about serious issues.

When I was a kid, I always wanted to sleep over at my grandmothers. But after a got a little older, I don´t do it as much as I used to.

I spent a lot of time with her. We have had a lot of good experiences. I can´t pick a specific one out.

We have never had an argument. But we have had some hard times, where we supported each other. Eg. when my grandfather died, I where not that old when he died, so it can´t remenber much about him, and that is there were my grandmother comes in to the picture. She is very good at telling story about him, and i´m really happy for that.

Why do I love her?
If you don´t love that person who is described in the text, there is something wrong with you!
She is a one-of-a-kind.

Juno - THE MOVIE!

The movie "Juno" is about a normal girl who is 16 years old. The girls name is Juno. The movies focal point is that Juno is pregnant and the father i a boy named Paulie. The problem is that they are not like boyfriend and girlfriend, is was more like... I guess you can call it a "one-nigth-stand". So Juno don´t want the baby, so she goes to a abortioncenter, but she can´t accomplish it. After she couldn't go through with the abortion, she decides to tell parents. They take it really good, after my opinio. After telling her parents the whole thing, she decides to give up the baby for adoption. She finds a good family, there really wont a baby. But after a littel time to couple who is going to adopt the baby, gets a divorce. But Juno is still up for giving the baby to the baby loving woman. The delivery goes well and a healthy comes to the World. Juno and Paulie gets together in the and of the movie...
